I assume that you did not also receive the original system install discs, which should have been included it the sale. Is that correct? If so, can you contact the seller, and request that those discs be provided?

If not, are any of the discs that you have a, of the, and do not say Upgrade, CPU Drop-in DVD, or 'This software is part of a hardware bundle purchase - not to be sold seperately.' If not, and you have only Model Specific install discs, they will not work.

I went to upgrade it and used a iMac set of disk and went to do a complete install and when it got to the end it told me there was an error in the installation. As I had wiped my drive by doing a complete install I was left in the cold. I have a set (3) of the black disk with the big X on them which are Panther 10.3's. I only have the two black disk's and don't know why it will not take them. When I try to boot up with the 'C' down the gray apple will shift to my right about 1 inch and that is where it locks up.
