Hello, For some reason, any driver I try to install is 'corrupt'. It happens with all drivers types, but for example when I try to install AMDs driver for the GPU, I'm being told 1st that Windows helped protect me. I even removed Smartscreen, but I still get ' NSIS error - installer integrity check has failed.)'.

Same thing goes for BSPlayer, etc. I even removed my ZA antivirus, but I still get messages that downloaded files signatures (from Java, Amd, etc.) are corrupt or invalid. How can I solve this problem? Thanks.Post moved by the moderator to the appropriate forum category. Hello Oren, Thank you for posting your concern in Microsoft Community and welcome to the Windows10 Family. We understand the frustration when things don't go the way they supposed to. Let me assist you to resolve the issue from here.

Windows 10 Drivers Wont Install

An NSIS error occurs when you download a program that fails an integrity check during installation. Failed integrity checks usually occur due to corrupt files. Under such circumstances it is advisable to install the program/drivers using a fresh copy. However, if it still does not help, follow the below methods and check if it helps to resolve the issue. Method 1 Place the computer in a Clean Boot state and check if there are any third party application/software to be causing the issue.

A clean boot is performed to start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This helps eliminate software conflicts that occur when you install a program. Note: Steps mentioned for Windows 8/8.1, will work fine with Windows 10.

Disclaimer: Please go through the section: How to reset the computer to start as usual after troubleshooting with clean boot of the Kb article to boot the computer in normal startup after fixing the issue. Additionally, disable any third party antivirus/firewall software installed in your computer, and check if it helps to isolate the cause the issue. NOTE: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you shouldn't disable your antivirus software. If you have to temporarily disable it to install other software, you should re-enable it as soon as you're done. If you're connected to the Internet or a network while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

Method 2 Run the following tool and check if it helps to resolve the issue. Also, run the Microsoft Scanner to check if the error message is any manifestation due to virus/malware infections. The Microsoft Safety Scanner is a free downloadable security tool that provides on-demand scanning and helps remove viruses, spyware, and other malicious software. It works with your existing antivirus software. Ref: Microsoft Safety Scanner Note: Any data files that are infected may only be cleaned by deleting the file entirely, which means there is a potential for data loss. Thanks for helping. I did everything suggested, including another security scan with the Kasperski tool (as was suggested in a different forum) - same results. There's something wrong with the Win 10 system, as it seems that problems occur during security scan (after download or before running a program) since even when I tried to download the MSFT malicious software removal tool, 1st time I was being told that this file was rarely downloaded and I shouldn't download it. For some reason, it let me dl it the 2nd time, but as I wrote, no maleware or anything else was found.

Hello Oren, Thank you for keeping us posted with the results. At this point, I suggest you to f ollow the below recommended methods and check if it helps to resolve the issue. Method 1 Follow these steps to run the Windows in built troubleshooter to check if it helps to identify any issues or possibly fix it a) Write Troubleshooting in the search box and hit enter. B) Click on Troubleshooting tab.

C) Click on view all option on the upper left corner. D) Select the Hardware and Device option from the list. E) Click Next to run the Hardware and Device Troubleshooter. Method 2 since you are unable to install the drivers offline, I suggest you to check for Windows update to look for latest drivers for devices in your computer.

Refer to the below Microsoft Help Article on Install and Update drivers in Windows 10, written by one of our MVPs, Andre da Costa. Method 3 If this issue is due to system file corruption, I suggest you to run System file checker. System File checker (SFC) scan is done to check if there are any corrupted system files that could be causing this issue. Kindly follow the below given steps:. Press Windows key + X, select Command prompt (Admin) to bring up elevated Command prompt. In Command prompt type sfc/scannow and press enter.

Restart the computer. Ref: Write to us with the updated results for us to be able to assist you better. Hi Oren, Thanks for the update. Since we are unable to access the image from the link you provided. I would suggest you to post the picture within the message.

If there are errors in SFC, try to repair these files and check if it helps. To do so, refer to the steps below:.

Open the start menu and type ' cmd '. Right click on the command prompt and click on ' Run as administrator '. Type the following commands and hit enter after each. DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth Once you run these commands, restart the system and check.

Hello Oren, We apologize for the delay in response from our end and at the same time we appreciate the time and effort you have put in to resolve the issue. Let me assist you further from here. At this point, i f no corrupted system files were found in the previous state or were irrecoverable, then I suggest you to deploy the DISM command lines: as previously suggested by on 7-Feb 2016.
